Hp M7470n Driver Files

I have a HP Media Center m7470n Desktop PC. I needed to reformat the drive and put the OS on from scratch. I tried it with an OEM CD and it seems to load all of the setup files but stalls out at the 'setup is starting windows' screen. Enterprise Architect 11 Serial.

I contacted HP and they claim there are no SATA/RAID drivers needed but when a machine stalls at that screen during setup that's what it seems like to me. I even caved in and bought a restore CD from HP. On running that CD, it creates the 'Recovery Partition' fine. Then it installs the OS off of that recovery partition. When it gets to a certain point in the installation it stalls out.

PLEASE HELP ME! I've chatted with HP 3 times and they are useless at this point, trying to sell me a brand new machine.

I try going into the bios and disabling everything you can COM USB AUDIO anything you can and also remove any hardware cards not needed just to install. Once you get everything installed, turn stuff back on and re-enable things in the bios. More than likely you are having some type of conflict or you have some type of hardware that has failed. I have one of those I reloaded several times and now run Vista Ultimate on without any problems ever.

I'd also make sure that if you have that option 'Plug N Play OS' that it is set to ON. Don't remember if it has that or not (have a lot o' PC's) but that is a common bios setting that causes installation problems. I did some Googling and it seems that you don't need any special drivers to install Windows. The chipset drivers will modify the description; but, still use the native drivers. Because of that and the fact that you have tried using the HP recovery media, I'm going to suggest a different direction, altogether; because (!!!!), I have hit two major mothers in the past few months that gave me fits. Get a flashlight and look very carefully at all of the USB connectors.

If you see any bent pins, braek them off with needlenose pliers. One system was very similar to yours; the other just randomly bluescreened. I just tried skipping the SATA drives all together and use IDE. Download Free Mcgraw Hill Ryerson Chemistry 11 Pdf Merge. Still the same issue. Davis and Kulvinder.

I did exactly what you both said. The USB pins on the MoBo and outside are all OK. I also, took out the processor and checked for dirt/bent pins/etc. And reset the heat sink. When reassembling the PC after removing the processor, I'm now getting a POST beep! One Long beep with 3 secs of rest in between beeps.

I took out all ram, hard drives, cd's. The only thing plugged in are power button, cpu, and power supply and still the same post beep. Hi, I had the same error on installing Windows 2003 R2 server on a HP XW8000 with a Dell Cerc1.5/6 SATA RAID controller (aka Adpatec 2610SA) with a RAID1 set of disks. What I had to do was go into the BIOS and change the Boot device sequence.

I moved the PCI interface corresponding to my SATA RAID up above the Local Hard Drive but after CD and removable devices. When I rebooted the Install said it could not determine my type of PC, please specify, I selected Standard PC. It then said it could not see any storage devices, I supplied the driver via diskette (Why is that still the only way to give drivers, some servers no longer have diskette drives, Microsoft wake up please.) I then progressed through the install no problem. Hope this helps some of you.

Why do i see many drivers? Below is a list of drivers that may be suitable for your device.
