I read tons of reviews for this and from what people say it sounds exactly like bones cracking. It sounds like a fart. That's what I was told from others, if I wanted fart sounds I'd get something that was made to make fart sounds. It kind of just sounds like plastic most of the time though, unless you hold it just right where you're covering as much of it as you can with your hand and close it at the right speed it can actually sound pretty real. Definitely takes some practice. This isn't worth more than a dollar or two though.
